Female Founders Cafe ("we," "us," or "our") operates femalefoundercafe.com and a private Slack workspace for women founders (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Statement explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

• Slack workspace data — messages, files, profile information, and metadata you create or upload while using our Slack workspace. Slack stores this content on our behalf.

• Website analytics data — pages visited, browser and device type, approximate location (from IP address), and referrer information, collected automatically when you visit our site.

We rely on the following processors to operate the Service. They process personal information on our behalf and have their own privacy policies:

• Hostinger — sends our newsletter and stores subscriber emails, measures website usage, and hosts the website, and handles the website sign-up form. https://www.hostinger.com/legal/privacy-policy

Some of these services are based in the United States or other countries outside the EEA and UK. When we transfer personal information internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, where applicable.

• Email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

• Slack messages and files: retained for up to 90 days, after which they are no longer available in the workspace.

• Sign-up form submissions: retained for as long as you are a member, or until you request deletion.

• Website analytics data: retained according to Hostingers's default retention settings.

When you leave the community or request deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information

• Delete your information ("right to be forgotten")

• Restrict or object to how we process it

• Receive a copy of your information in a portable format

• Withdraw consent at any time (for example, by unsubscribing)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
